Consultations
We schedule 20 minute consultations with the vet to give us plenty of time to complete a thorough physical examination on your pet and to discuss any health issues and concerns. Treatment plans are explained and discussed and you will always be given the best treatment options available. Our vets use established relationships with referring specialists when necessary and attend continuing professional development.
24 hour emergency service
A vet is on duty 24 hours to see genuine emergencies in a roster with other local practices. Please leave routine enquiries to normal hours as our 'on call' vets have to work during the day as well.
Phone 4399 2129 for directions for contacting the duty veterinarian. An after hours consultation fee will apply to all animals seen outside normal hours.
Vaccinations, microchipping, dietary advice
Ophthalmology
We have a special interest in ophthalmology and specialist equipment to enhance diagnosis of eye diseases.
Diagnostic services, including pathology, radiology and ultrasound
We use our in-house laboratory equipment to check for parasites, fungus and yeasts, and perform urine analysis, bloodwork and cell examination. We also use external laboratory facilities.
We have the latest in radiology and ultrasound equipment. This allows imaging into your pet's body, an essential diagnostic tool.
Surgery procedures
Complete surgical care is provided in our 2 operating rooms. We use isoflurane, the safest anaesthetic gas available and have a range of monitoring instruments and equipment to assess your pet whilst undergoing anaesthesia. All patients undergoing anaesthesia have a dedicated surgical nurse to stay with them until they are in recovery.
Preanesthetic blood testing and intravenous fluid therapy are highly recommended for all surgical cases. Our premium care desexing package includes intravenous fluid therapy in the price.
