Dog Training
Does your pooch needs to learn a manner or two? Are you interested in dog training but your puppy is too old for Puppy preschool? We now offer a Teen Adolescent group class for puppies aged 14 weeks to 24 months old.
Or perhaps you need a qualified dog trainer to come to your house and conduct a private consultation for particular behavioural concerns?
Our Delta qualified Trainer uses positive reinforcement training method to establish effective communication between hooman and our furry friends.
Option 1
Adolescent Foundation Group Classes
Sunday morning classes: 9:30-10:30am class and 11:30 -12:30pm
Cost: $195 for 5 weeks
Dogs needs to be between 14 weeks – 24 months old and fully vaccinated.
What we teach
- Basic cues ( "Sit", "Down", "Wait", "Stay", "Follow me" etc)
- Calm greeting (Teach our excited teenager dogs what is the best way to say hello to us and other dogs).
- Recall (Really helpful for those puppies with selective hearing)
- Loose lead walking (So your puppy does not drag you around the neighbourhood).
No puppies on the first class (This is when we talk about our training method and things we need to bring for the next four weeks without distraction from puppies)
We have a maximum of six dogs in each class to ensure you get enough one one-on-one attention.
Bookings are essential for all classes and payment is required at the time of booking.
Our adolescent classes are very popular and are strictly limited to 6 puppies per class, therefore your enrolment fee is refundable only if you cancel more than one week before the introduction class. If you cancel less than a week before, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
Option 2
Private Training Classes/Consultations
for clients that either struggle with their dog’s particular behaviours or simply want to teach their dogs some good manners but unable to attend our group class.
Cost: $180 in clinic | $195 at client's home
There is no age limit for dogs attending private training sessions.
How it works
- Client fill out questionnaire. (Not all clients needs this. But if applicable, this extensive questionnaire is to tell our trainer all the essential information regarding your lifestyle and living arrangements so we can focus on all our time together on something helpful)
- One on one consultation/training (1.5hr): Consultation and canine behavioural assessment indoor and outdoor.
- Formal written report including environmental management, behavioural modification and much more.
- One complimentary follow up call after 2-4 weeks.
Any subsequent training sessions or consultations are:
$100 for one hour | $60 for half an hour
Payment is required at time of booking.
